68th Annual Viticulture Club Fall Harvest BBQ In-person community event |
Alumni, friends, and the community are invited to gather at Kings River Winery in Sanger, CA for the Viticulture Club's 68th annual fundraiser. Funds raised support student attendance at professional grape and wine industry meetings, student scholarships, and visits to grape growing regions to meet with alumni and grape and wine industry leaders. Join the oldest club on the Fresno State campus for a night filled with dinner, silent and live auctions, and music on Friday, November 12 at 4276 S. Greenwood, Sanger. If unable to attend, donations to the Viticulture Club are also appreciated. Fresno State Winery's Flavor of Fall event meets the Fresno County Fall Harvest Wine Journey weekend on November 13 and 14!. The Fresno State Winery will be hosting an outdoor wine tasting on the Department of Viticulture and Enology lawn and gazebo area from 12 noon to 5:00 pm on November 13 and 14 to celebrate their annual Flavor of Fall event, and to showcase their wines as part of the Fresno County Fall Harvest Wine Journey. Fresno State's Horticulture Nursery presents the Fall Plant Sale at the Gibson Farm Market at Fresno State! Vegetables, perennials, houseplants and annuals. All plants are grown by Fresno State students and will be at reduced prices for the duration of the event. The Gibson Farm Market is located at 5368 N. Chestnut Avenue in Fresno (Chestnut and Barstow Avenues). The Fall Plant Sale will be held in conjunction with the Gibson Market Fall Festival on October 16. Open to the community. |
