Another key strength for the program was the availability for help when needed from both the professor and ISAs."

"The AgBond program has helped guide my way towards navigating my way to becoming a proficient scientist. For instance, the featured activities such as Journal Articles, and Professional Development helped me learn how to analyze scientific articles and methods, as well as use the information provided regarding program opportunities around campus to help aid me. On top of that, everyone was also helpful and easy to reach. The ISAs, Dr Tarrent, and even the students helped me sometimes."

"What I would consider a strength of the AgBond program would be the peer mentorships that were provided throughout the semester. Not only does this allow you to form a connection with someone in your department, but it also allows you to have a trusted adult with whom you could discuss your college experiences and ask questions that you may have."

"I believe that the strengths of the Ag bond program are that they are trying to get you prepared for later in college and to give you a head start in the work force by trying to push you to do internships and get jobs that correlate to your major. I was very happy with the 2 professors that I've had in these CSM classes, they want you to be successful when you leave there classroom and enter the real world. They want you to be ahead of the game while you are in college so you won't get lost when you graduate. It's probably one of the best stepping stones for a college student to take because most kids are lost when they enter college and this class with push you to find a job that you love so that you can focus your time and energy into that one subject."
-AgBond Student
"I believe the AgBond program could be good for someone who is really considering going into research or even has never seriously considered it as the class introduces these topics lightly. The program also helps to force a student to attend campus events and learn more about relevant industries."

"This experience has been very helpful in ways where it could help my career major in the future. This program has taught me how to properly search for a scientific articles using the Fresno State database, helped me get more engaged on campus/ meet new people, and it also helped me get into big groups and work together collaboratively."

"The strength that I saw in the Agbond program was the engagement with more of the science part. As doing research and things such as that. "
-AgBOND Student
"The strength of the AgBond program is them trying to help you succeed in a science field by learning more about how to properly research a specific topic and everything that could be proven helpful with said topic, they also helped with a great collaboration project and how to work well with other students. The most positive aspect I had in the experience was the collaboration project, we were tasked to work with other students in out class that had similar interest and work together to make a project that would then be presented to others and show them more on our topic."
-AgBOND Student
"The AgBond program really got me doing the things I liked. Connecting with others and making new friends at a new place where we are all in the same boat together."

"I can't provide a totally accurate statement of the program as I was not part of CSM 10, but knowing how to approach research, scientific presentations, and job/research applications makes me feel more prepared for my future as a student in STEM."
-AgBOND Student
"Definitely the most positive experiences for me is the understanding of my professor and the TA. They’ve definitely been very understanding when it comes to me not be able to turn assignments in on time and have been very gracious towards me."
-AgBOND Student
"The strengths of the AgBond program would have to be that all of the assignments that we had to complete which are listed above were important. Each assignment had a purpose in that it either rolled over to the next assignment or can be applied in the real world. I didn't feel as if I was wasting my time completing assignments that were just busy work. Rather I felt as if each assignment could help me in the future which allowed me to put in as much effort as possible. Another factor was that I felt as if you as a professor went out of your way to give us as much feedback as possible which eased the stress. We knew what to correct and how to correct it in order to earn the grade we wanted. Appreciate having you as a professor. Wish you all the best!"

"I learned a lot about many different scientific studies about the world of a undergraduate student, a well as learned about the genetic alignments of different dog breeds. I really enjoyed the topics that helped us as well as the guest speakers that would teach us about fresno state's programs that would benefit us as students overall."
