Advising Information: Spring 2024

Fall hours of operation

Our office will be open from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday.  Our office is open during the lunch hour but our Academic Counselors and Internship Coordinator are not available during this time.

Appointments/walk-ins

Appointments can be made for Zoom or in person, but walk-ins will be strictly in person.  Walk-in hours are Wednesdays from 9-11am and 1:30-4pm.

Please note that there will be days that we are unavailable for in person appointments due to telecommuting, but are available virtually on those days. You should call our office when wanting to schedule an appointment (559.278.4019).

Emails

We recommend checking your inbox periodically.  We will begin sending emails about holds and required advising in early August.

Reminders

Forms requiring signatures:  You will be responsible for obtaining the form (https://fresnostate.edu/studentaffairs/registrar/forms/index.html) and filling out everything required by the student. The instructions for forms vary, so be mindful of which need to be emailed to your advisor and which will be automatically sent to the appropriate person.

Please refer to the "academic forms" tab on this site for any major/minor forms that you need, and feel free to contact your department advisor if you have any additional questions or concerns. You can also follow us on social media @fsjordanadvising to stay up to date with any new information.
