Teaches undergraduate courses in weeds, pesticides, biometrics, and aspects of crop productivity; at the graduate level, teaches biometrics, Advanced Pest Management, and a seminar course. Primary research area is integrated vegetation management in agricultural and non-agricultural systems. Particular research interests include weed biology and ecology, crop-weed competition, herbicide-resistance management, environmental aspects of vegetation management, cropping systems, agroecology, conservation tillage, IPM, and organic farming. Serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Crop Improvement and Journal of Sustainable Agriculture. Joined the department in 2008.
