Hannah Price graduated from Fresno State in 2017 with her B.S. in Animal Science, Livestock Business Management. During her time as a student she was a member of the JCAST Honors Program, Livestock Judging Team, Meat Judging Team, and numerous clubs within the Animal Science Department. She then went on to complete her M.S. at the University of Illinois where her research revolved around the effects of increased carcass weights on fresh pork quality and sensory traits. Following graduation she worked as a Science Policy Fellow at the University of Illinois Extension and Illinois State Department of Agriculture before accepting a position as the Food Safety Coordinator for a beef packing company in Nebraska. Price returned to her alma mater in the fall of 2023 as a full time lecturer and coach of the Livestock Judging Team. She is excited to be back in California and eager to continue building the legacy of the Livestock Judging Program.
