Annette E. Levi is an Agricultural Business professor at Fresno State. She received
her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics in 1990 from Washington State University. Her
specialty is in agricultural marketing with a focus on consumer demand for horticultural
products, wine and other beverages. She has conducted research in the areas of how
various demographic characteristics impact food choice as well as working on agricultural
labor issues. Levi is an exemplary teacher who has worked on program evaluation, department
five-year reviews, and curriculum assessment. Dr. Levi's research results have been
published in The Journal of Foodservice, Journal of American College Health, Journal
of International Food and Agribusiness Marketing, and the Journal of Food Distribution
Research. Currently she is working on study abroad programs, development toward integrating
international agribusiness cooperation more fully into the Fresno State program, and
small projects with various agribusinesses in California.
