Gibson Farm Market (5368 N. Chestnut Ave, Fresno)
As the kick-off to our campus Food, Family and Farm Month, the public is invited to our Open House and the Gibson Farm Market's Fall Festival (Noon - 3 p.m.) to see how Fresno State is shaping the nation's leading agricultural area with free, family-friendly activities, campus farm and winery tours and demonstrations, and lots of prizes and giveaways.
Sample free, student-made ice cream, raisins, flavored almonds, and other farm products, as well as a Fresno State wine tasting in the afternoon.
Kids and families can see farm equipment up close and can learn more about agriculture through crafts, games and other educational activities.
Students, faculty and staff will help kids learn about agriculture with fun activities and demonstrations.

The same day, also stop by at the market's Fall Plant Sale (8 a.m. - noon).

10:30 a.m. - Livestock Tour - walking tour - Departure Location TBD

- Nut/Citrus/Model Manufacturing Lab Tour - transportation available - Departure Location TBD
- Fall Plant Sale Ends
- Gibson Market Fall Festival Activities Begin
- Sampling of various Fresno State farm products inside the GFM (such as nuts, raisins and ice cream)
- Pumpkin decorating from 12 - 3- p.m.
1:30 p.m. - Poster Session ends
1:45 p.m. - Open House closing - Poster Awards and Raffle Prizes
3 p.m. - Fall Festival ends
