Winery offers April discounts for staff and new pick-up option

The Fresno State Winery (2360 East Barstow) is offering campus faculty and staff a special 35 percent discount on advance orders of 10 of its most popular wines and special pick-up between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

The promotion is limited to the following 2017 vintages (California Syrah, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo and Toca Zinfandel) and 2018 vintages (Albariño, Chardonnay, Muscat Canelli, Pinot Noir and Syrah Rosé) at wholesale prices for a limited time.

Orders should be made via the online wine store with the special coupon code (bulldog) and the ‘pickup at winery’ option by 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 15. Customers are encouraged to text 559.676.5313 with their name before arriving to pick up their shipment at the winery on Thursday, April 16. Customers can stay in their vehicle, and the winery staff will bring out their order. Sanitation best efforts will be followed.

All customers can also take advantage of four new releases, Cabernet Sauvignon (2018), Pinot Gris (2019), Tailgate Rosé and Tailgate White, that were bottled this spring and are discounted online by 15 percent through April 30.

Fresno State viticulture and enology students are involved with every step of the processing at the nation’s first and largest campus winery. The current selection features 21 wines made from high quality grapes from campus and other vineyards across the Central Valley and Central Coast regions.
