Horticulture nursery to host spring vegetable plant sale March 18

The Fresno State Horticulture Nursery will host its spring vegetable plant sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Gibson Farm Market (5368 N. Chestnut Ave.).

The event is the nursery’s largest of the spring and will feature 18 varieties of tomatoes, six types of herbs, artichokes, strawberries and flowers.

The event will offer special prices for spring season seedlings that are ready to plant in your garden and landscape.

Fresh citrus, asparagus, olive oil, raisins, honey, jams, salsa and candied almonds raised and processed by the students from the campus farm will also be available.
