Fresno State Motorsports Club to host spring car show
(April 1, 2015) -- The Fresno State Car Show spring edition will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 10 at the P20 campus parking lot on Barstow Avenue (formerly known as lot Q).
The event is sponsored by the Fresno State Motorsports Club and has 300 cars of all
makes and models already entered.
Admission is free to spectators and $20 for each car entered in the judging competition.
Awards will be given in categories for audio, best of show, domestic, drift, import four cylinder, import six cylinder, lifted truck, lowered truck, muscle coupe and muscle sedan.
“We’ve gotten a huge response already,” said senior Jeff Guy, club president. “Last fall we had over 100 cars, and we’re trying to continue to expand it while keeping it an event that students, the community and the whole family can enjoy.”
Spectators can also visit information booths for local automotive suppliers such as Creative Auto Lab, MB2 Raceway, Revolution Autosport and Wagner Tuning.
Event proceeds will go towards the club that meets weekly and restores its own racing cars.
Exhibitor cars must arrive by 8:30 a.m., and those entering can download and bring a completed entry form from https://www.facebook.com/events/890771327706678/permalink/902652649851879/.
