Dr. Arthur A. Parham received his Masters and his Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming.
He has taught at the University since 1982 and has an additional 10 years of experience
teaching secondary vocational agriculture in California. Dr. Parham has continually
been recognized by the California Teachers Association with the Gold medal "Teacher
of Teachers" award for the past six years consecutively. Dr. Parham consults on classroom
and shop instructional methods. His research is related to the quality of pre-service
training of Vocational Agriculture teachers in California. Dr. Parham has served the
university for 19 years in several capacities, the last five serving as chairman of
the Department of Animal Sciences & Agricultural Education.
