Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education

Youth Farm Tours

The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, in coordination with the Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education, looks forward to providing a quality, learning experience not only for our college students, but for community school groups as well.

We want everyone's visit to the Fresno State campus farm to be safe, educational, and enjoyable.

All tour groups for youth between the ages of kindergarten and fifth grade must be accompanied by a tour guide, any unauthorized visitors will be asked to leave the farm. Our tours are given by our Fresno State college student tour guides, and are available during the semester from early September through mid-May. Tours are subject to availability, as we are working within our students availability/class schedules. With this in mind, tours are booked one semester at a time in order for us to coordinate with our student tour guides availability and class schedules.

As of July 2024, the minimum cost for a tour was $96.00, in order to cover our costs. This is equivelent to a group of 12 children at $8.00 per child. Any additional children over the group of 12 minimum are an additional $8.00 each. Even if your group consists of less than 12 students, the cost would still be $96.00. If parents are bringing siblings, notify the tour coordinator before the date of the tour and parents must pay for the siblings.

Our tours are dedicated to providing information on each of the livestock units housed at Fresno State, and the form below is used to schedule an on-campus tour.

Requirements for scheduling a tour:
