Please be aware that this page is still under development. Many of our available tests are not yet listed here, but we will continue to update it over time.

For a complete list of the tests we offer, please refer to our Price Sheet.

Available Tests:

This test measures the consistency of water flow rates from drip emitters to ensure they meet ISO 9261 certification standards. It verifies that the emitters are manufactured with precision and deliver uniform performance, critical for reliable agricultural irrigation.

See Clients Instruction Document for more details.

This test measures the discharge of drip emitters as a function of pressure to ensure they meet ISO 9261 standards. It evaluates how consistently emitters perform across varying pressure levels, a critical factor for reliable agricultural irrigation.

See Clients Instruction Document for more details.

This test evaluates how drip emitters perform under varying water temperatures to ensure they meet ISO 9261 standards. It measures flow rate consistency across different temperatures, which is critical for reliable performance in diverse environmental conditions.

See Clients Instruction Document for more details.

This test measures the consistency of water flow rates from drip emitters to ensure they meet ISO 9261 certification standards. It verifies that the emitters are manufactured with precision and deliver uniform performance, critical for reliable agricultural irrigation. It is a combination of three tests:

Drip Emitter: Manufacturing Variability
Drip Emitter: Discharge as a Function of Pressure
Drip Emitter: Discharge as a Function of Temperature

At CIT, we follow the ANSI/HI 14.6-2022 standard (also known as the “customer acceptance test”) to evaluate the hydraulic performance of pumps. This ensures accurate and reliable measurements of critical metrics such as flow rate, head, efficiency, and power consumption. Our testing verifies that your pumps meet their design specifications and performance guarantees, providing the data manufacturers need to assure customers of product quality.

See Clients Instruction Document for more details.

The test evaluates how susceptible irrigation emitters are to clogging caused by inorganic particles, such as grit or sand, commonly found in water sources. It simulates real-world conditions by circulating water mixed with aluminum oxide particles of various sizes through the emitters. The goal is to see how different emitters perform and whether they maintain consistent water flow without getting plugged.

See Clients Instruction Document for more details.

The Environmental Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR) test measures how well polyethylene irrigation pipes resist cracking when exposed to stress and certain chemicals over time. These chemicals simulate cracking that occurs as the product ages. In this test, pipe samples are stretched, bent, and submerged in a special solution at high temperature for 48 hours. Afterward, they are inspected for any cracks or splits. Passing the test indicates the pipe can withstand real-world conditions like pressure, bending, and exposure to common farm chemicals without failing. This ensures durability and longer service life for irrigation systems. This test is based on either ISO 9261 or ASAE S435.1.
