I am an aspiring agriculture educator with a strong interest in agricultural mechanics and a lifelong connection to agriculture. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from California State University, Fresno, with an emphasis in Agricultural Mechanics, and I am a graduate of Sanger High School. Agriculture has always been a big part of my life and has played a major role in shaping my goals.
While attending Fresno State, I gained hands-on experience by working for about two years at the Farm Machinery Center and six months at the Vegetable Crop Unit during my initial student teaching. These opportunities helped me build technical skills and showed me how important hands-on learning is in agriculture.
I also served as the Farm Power State Finals Contest Chair in 2023, 2024, and 2025 which helped me grow as a leader and become more organized. My first student teaching placement was at El Diamante High School, where I taught small engines, woodworking, concrete, and plumbing units. I am currently finishing my final student teaching at Madera South High School, teaching ag mechanics, ag biology, and ag civics.
My passion for agriculture started at a young age through my family’s business, San Francisco Floral. There, I learned about greenhouse maintenance, plant production, and equipment operation. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in agricultural education and help students discover opportunities in agriculture.
