MaryGrace received an associate’s degree in plant science from Reedley College, then attended Fresno State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in animal science. In high school, MaryGrace was very active in her school's FFA program, which led her to her career as an ag teacher.

Miss. Martin completed her initial student teaching at Sierra High School in Tollhouse, CA, and her final student teaching at Liberty High School in Madera, CA. She was responsible for teaching, introduction to agriculture for 7th and 9th grade, introduction to agriculture mechanics, Ag chemistry, floral design, advanced fabrication, farm to fork, and vet science courses, where she worked to create engaging lessons for students at varying academic levels. After completing her student teaching, MaryGrace plans to get a job teaching within the San Joaquin region with a variety of animal science, plant science, ag business, and ag leadership classes. 

When MaryGrace is not in the classroom, she loves spending time at home relaxing with her 2 dogs or exploring new places. She has travelled to 13 different countries so far. MaryGrace also enjoys attending rodeos, concerts, and cooking at home.
