Spring 2025 Initial Student Teaching Placement: Sanger High School
Fall 2025 Final Student Teaching Placement: El Diamante High School
Jordan enjoyed helping others with schoolwork and often found herself tutoring friends.
With her passion for the agricultural industry and active involvement in her high
school agricultural program, she decided that an ag teacher would make a great and
fulfilling career. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from CSU,
Fresno, and then pursued a teaching credential in agricultural education along with
a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education.
Jordan completed her initial student teaching at Sanger High School in the Spring
of 2025, where she taught an Ag Economics class and an Intro to Welding course. She
is currently completing her final student teaching at El Diamante High School. She
teaches Animal and Plant Physiology and will soon take over the Plant and Soil Science
class, the Floral class, and the Ag Leadership class. The classes she has taught have
all been very different with a wide variety of content, which she felt was challenging
at times, but has been a truly great learning experience to prepare herself for her
first job. Jordan is coaching her first FFA team this semester, which will consist
of a Freshman Opening and Closing Team. She has had the opportunity to observe multiple
other FFA teams, which really sparked an interest in Public Speaking contests.
Jordan grew up working for my parents' family farms, which really drove her passion
for the agricultural industry, and her goal as an agricultural educator is to inspire
and teach students about the amazing industry she has been a part of.
