Brittany Whitesell is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, emphasizing Livestock Business Management. She began her college journey at Bakersfield College, earning an Associate Degree in Animal Science. Growing up in Bakersfield, California, Brittany was actively involved in agriculture, discovering her passion for the industry through Frontier High School's agriculture program. There, she developed a strong Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) in swine production and earned the prestigious American FFA Degree.

Her experiences at Frontier, guided by the mentorship of her agriculture teacher, Julie Beechinor, inspired her to pursue a career in agricultural education. Brittany gained early teaching experience at Fresno Central and is currently completing her final student teaching at Bakersfield Foothill, refining her skills in classroom management and curriculum development.

After completing her student teaching, Brittany plans to pursue a master’s degree in agricultural education. She is committed to further developing her teaching abilities and expanding her career opportunities within agricultural education. Her ultimate goal is to inspire students to explore the agricultural industry and become the next generation of leaders and innovators.

In her free time, she enjoys fishing, which allows her to relax and connect with nature. She also values spending time with family through meals, gatherings, and outdoor activities, creating lasting memories.
