I was inspired to become an ag teacher to give back to the community that provided me with such an amazing high school experience. I also am passionate about preparing the next generation to positively promote and influence agriculture in the future. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Ag Ed Teacher Prep from Fresno State. I completed my initial student teaching at Porterville High and am currently finishing my final student teaching at Monache. At both sites, I focused on ag mech, along with some ag science classes. My ultimate goal is to secure a position teaching ag mech at a school with a school farm.
