Enhancement of pre-emergence herbicide activity with Aquatrols® surfactant in transplanted tomatoes
A study was conducted at the Fresno State Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT) research plots to test the efficacy of a soil surfactant (Aquatrols) in increasing the activity of a pre-emergence herbicide in tomato plots. The study was undertaken by former undergraduate student Sara Alatorre as a part of the Provost's Undergraduate Research Award.
