Alcidia Freitas Gomes Endowment

                                     

As you may know, Alcidia Freitas Gomes who has served as the executive director of the Ag One Foundation and senior director of development for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology for the last 30 years plans to retire in the coming months. 

Alcidia has been dedicated to the goals and success of the mission of Ag One and the Jordan College throughout her career.  She has successfully helped to raise more than $120 million in support of students and programs.  From student and program support to the transformational gift from Bud, Dee and Lowell Jordan which named the college and built a state-of-the-art research center, her leadership has left an indelible mark across the Jordan College.  Her tireless and unfettered commitment to Fresno State and the agricultural industry is greatly appreciated.

In recognition of her extraordinary career, the Ag One Board of Directors announce the creation of an endowment fund in her name to help advance agriculture at Fresno State.  Please join us in thanking her for her service to her alma mater by contributing to the fund.
