OFFICERS
PRESIDENT
Fendley Ragland, Prudential Agricultural Investments
Fendley grew up on a beef cattle farm in north Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas (U of A) with a bachelor’s and master’s in agricultural economics. Following graduation, he was an instructor in the agricultural economics and agribusiness department at the U of A. In 2014, he joined PGIM Real Estate Agricultural Investments in Memphis, Tennessee and has worked for the Fresno location for the last 7 years. He currently runs the central region asset management and acquisition efforts in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Fendley has been involved in the community in organizations such as California Citrus Mutual and as a co-advisor for the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity at Fresno State. He is on the Ag One trap shoot as well as the Ag Boosters BBQ Committees.
VICE PRESIDENT
Jason Baldwin, Panoche Creek Packing
Jason graduated from Fresno State in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from the Jordan College. While he did not grow up in agriculture, growing up in Madera and then attending Fresno State exposed him to technology, animal and plant sciences as well as economics. After earning his degree, he worked for Frank A. Logoluso Farms in Madera as safety director which led to a position at Nisei Farmers League as a grower relations representative. In 2000, Jason went to work for the Madera County Farm Bureau as the Executive Director. He was recruited by Panoche Creek Packing as their Chief Operating Officer where he is today. He is on the board of Western Agricultural Processors Association.
TREASURER
Patrick Murphy, Murphy Bank
Patrick has over 40 years of experience in the plant protection industry. He currently serves as the general manager at Longwind Cropsciences USA and is the director of community outreach and a founding team member on the Board of Directors of Murphy Bank. Patrick earned his undergraduate degree from St. Mary's College of California. He later completed a master’s degree in plant science from the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State, followed by an MBA from the Craig School of Business. A dedicated community leader, Patrick has served on the board of Fresno State's Viticulture Alumni and Valley Children's Hospital. He is also a former president of the Fresno-Madera Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisors.
SECRETARY
Daniel Hartwig, California Fresh Fruit Association
Daniel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and master’s degree in agricultural economics from Fresno State. He is currently president and CEO of the California Fresh Fruit Association. For the prior 10 years he was with Woolf Enterprises, first as a procurement manager and most recently as their director of sustainability. He served as Fresno County Farm Bureau board president from 2020-22, chair of the Central Region Hearing Board for the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and a member of several other boards and committees related to ag, water, and energy. He is a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program (Class 49).

Nick Biscay, BVB, LLC
Nick graduated from Fresno State in 2004 with a B.S. degree in business administration and management from the Craig School of Business. As the former president and CEO of Stanislaus Farm Supply, Nick facilitated a cooperative merger effective September 2024 resulting in a combined $1B farmer-owned sales organization across six western states. Today, Nick owns and operates BVB, LLC., a management consulting and business brokerage firm with clients across the U.S. consulting with business owners on a broad range of projects from mergers and acquisitions to management, finance, warehousing, logistics and standard operating procedures. He maintains a strategic connection to agribusiness and agriculture and remains closely connected to his family’s 100-year farming operation located in Madera County where he and his family reside. Giving back to the community, especially supporting opportunities for the next generation of agricultural leaders is a priority. As a proud Fresno State alumnus, he is passionate about his alma mater and the benefits it provides to students, businesses and the community.
