Meet the Team:

Alcidia Freitas Gomes - Executive Director of Ag One/ Senior Director of Development

Alcidia graduated from Fresno State in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business. After working in the dairy industry for seven years, she returned to campus to work in development for the Jordan College. She has served in this capacity for 30 years and helped raise over $120 million.

 




Lauri King
- Director of Development

Lauri graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. She also earned a minor in Agricultural Communications and Agribusiness. Lauri has over 25 years of experience working in the Fair Industry and has contributed to the growth and development of numerous programs within the industry. Currently, she is a member of the development team at Jordan College, where she utilizes her passion and enthusiasm to help make a good education a great education. Most of all Lauri loves being a wife to her husband Andrew and a mom to her 3 children.

 



Kristine Lor
- Accounting and Administrative Professional

Kristine graduated from Front Range Community College in 1995 with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. She moved from Denver to Fresno in 2009 and has worked in accounting for many years. She started at Fresno State in the Accounting Department before joining the Ag One/Jordan College Development team in March 2015.

 

 



Beth Kuhn
- Program Specialist

Beth's deep-rooted connection to agriculture in the valley fuels her passion for Fresno State and her commitment to the advancing the mission of Ag One and the Jordan College.  Born and raised in Dos Palos, she attended Fresno State where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business and her Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication and journalism in 2022.  She was also a student-athlete and competed on the swim team.  Her previous experience includes an internship and later a marketing position at TELUS (previously known as Agrian) as well as experience in agricultural consulting. 

 


Daniella Garcia

Daniella was born and raised in Fresno, California on a small ranch where her passion for agriculture began and flourished. She earned her high school diploma from Washington Union High School while also obtaining an agricultural mechanics associates degree from Reedley College in spring 2023. Her career at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) began fall 2023 where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in agricultural education with emphasis in agricultural mechanics. Daniella’s career goal is to become an agriculture teacher at the high school level. She joined the Ag One/ Jordan College Department team in June of 2024.

 


Erica Mattingly
- Student Assistant

Erica was born in Sonora, California, and raised in Turlock, California, where her passion for the agriculture industry developed.  She earned her Associate of Science degree in agricultural sciences from Modesto Junior College in the Spring of 2023. Her career at  Fresno State began in the Fall of 2023. She is an agriculture education major with a concentration in plant science. Erica's career goal is to become an agriculture educator at the high school level with a specialization in environmental horticulture and floriculture. She joined the Ag One/Jordan College Development team in May of 2023.
