2022 - Dr. John C. Harris
Harris and his family are longtime leaders in California agriculture. Harris’ vision and determination have grown the family operation into one of the largest and most diversified and integrated agribusinesses in the Western United States, including Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant, and 33 crops on thousands of acres. 2019 - The Parnagian Family
The 19th salute spotlighted the three-generation family legacy linked to one of the nation’s largest citrus and table grape processors: Fowler Packing. The Fresno-based company is equally respected for its extensive meal and medical services that it provides to its 2,500 workers and its college scholarship program for employee families. Read more...
2017 - The Borba Family
Borba Farms, Inc. was established in 1976, but its Central Valley roots date back to the early 1900s when A.J. Borba started a family dairy near Hardwick with 40 cows and 120 acres, then moved it to Riverdale in the 1940s. Today’s 9,000-acre operation grows a plethora of crops and includes the Rancho Vista del Rio horse ranch near Fresno. Read more...
2015 - Mr. Antonio "Tony" Campos
Campos emigrated from the Northern Basque region to the United States at age 17 and became a sheepherder. Four years later he and his older brothers, Esteban and Fermin, started farming in Caruthers. In 1971 they started growing almonds, and today Campos Brothers Farms is a leader in almond processing. Read more...
