Stanislaus County Alumni and Friends Dinner honoring Jack and Pat Wilkey

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock for the Ag One Stanislaus County Alumni and Friends Dinner. It was a pleasure to honor Jack and Pat Wilkey of Wilkey Industries. Those speaking to honor the Wilkey's included Bill Mattos, president of the California Poultry Federation and the Northwest Chicken Council as well as their grandson Tom Mendonca, 2010 Fresno State graduate with a degree in kinesiology. Tom was on the 2008 Fresno State baseball team who won the College World Series, he was named Most Outstanding Player of the series. Senior in animal science, Karissa Allmon from Patterson and the recipient of the Stanislaus Alumni and Friends Scholarship also shared her gratitude for support of student scholarships. Special thank you to all of those who sponsored and attended the event as well as the organizing committee including: Nick Blom, Gary Ericksen, Joey Gonsalves, Mel Machado, Tim Roos and Corinne Santos.
