Ag One Foundation
Raymond J. and Mary Helen Maul Endowment
Raymond J. Maul has deep roots in Fowler. So much so that he and his wife Mary Helen have established a permanent scholarship fund to support deserving students from Fowler High School who are majoring in agriculture at Fresno State. Raymond created the fund to honor his high school ag teacher Ben From who later became a professor in what was known as the School of Agriculture and Home Economics (now known as the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology). Professor From inspired and influenced countless students including Raymond. The fund is also in recognition of his graduating high school class of 1961. Raymond is well known in the crop protection industry. He was the president of Helm Fertilizers when it was purchased in 2000 by Wilbur Ellis. He went on to head other companies until his retirement several years ago.
