Support the Fresno State Farm Today!

A student gives directions to someone in the vineyard driving a tractor

For the last 101 years, the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology has provided hands-on learning for all facets of agricultural leadership. Generations of students have gone on to pursue a wide array of fulfilling careers, started their own businesses, developed innovative technologies, and helped enrich their communities. Nearly 65 percent of our students are the first in their families to graduate from college. A Fresno State education in the Jordan College changes students’ lives as well as their families’ lives. It helps the region by uniting communities with graduates who give of their time and talent.

The agricultural laboratory (campus farm) has been the hub of real world and real time educational opportunities. Students put to the test or put to practice what was learned in the classroom minutes earlier. The agricultural laboratory has provided graduates with the necessary skills to enter their chosen careers well prepared. To further support student learning on the campus farm, the Jordan College seeks additional funding for student internship opportunities on the campus farm.

With your support, offering additional internships helps insure well qualified graduates to serve the diversified agricultural industry. Students not only learn management and teamwork skills, they learn to be better communicators, think globally and have a high work ethic. By making a gift today, you are helping change students’ lives while also helping the region.
