There is strong demand for dietitians and nutritionists by the health care and food service industries. Some of the largest food manufacturers cooperate with Fresno State to provide students with a view of commercial realities in this industry.
The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at California State University, Fresno offers two undergraduate degree programs, with two options for each degree:
- B.S. in Food Science, Culinology or Food Technology option
- B.S. in Human Nutrition Sciences, Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences option
