Student Opportunities

Students have the opportunity to be involved in all apsects of the care and management of cattle in both the feedlot and cow/calf segments of the beef industry.  Students usually start out their involvement at the unit by doing an on campus internship for course credit.  They can then progress to being hired as a student employee at the unit and a limited number of students progress into the role of student manager at the unit.
