Bull and Heifer Development

In addition to the cattle raised in the university herds, bulls and heifers from outside producers are developed at the campus beef unit.  Students manage and care for these animals and these cattle are used to provide additional variation in cattle breeds and types for numerous animal evaluation exercises.
