John Hagen

Dr. John W. Hagen is a Professor Emeritus of Agricultural Economics specializing in Ag Business Management. Dr. Hagen received his B.S. Degree in Agriculture and M.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics from North Dakota State University. He received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University.

Dr. Hagen is a native of North Dakota. He joined the Fresno State faculty in 1969 and is the "founder" of the agricultural business program. He taught in the areas of agricultural business statistics, agricultural business management, agricultural cooperative management and agricultural policy. Dr. Hagen's contacts with industry are extensive, and his skills at helping students find jobs are legendary.
