Brief Introductory Statement:
Carrie Irby is the Accounting Technician for the Dept. of Viticulture and Enology (DVE) and the Viticulture and Enology Research Center (VERC). She assists the Director/Chair in accomplishing the department's mission and goals. Carrie also works with the faculty, research staff, graduate students and students as the program coordinator on all research projects. She maintains the budgets; tracks all the accounts, processes purchase orders, payroll, travel and gifts-in-kind for DVE and VERC.

Carrie also provides support to the viticulture and enology administrative assistant and is the primary contact in Andrea's absence.

Since 1992, Carrie has been a devoted employee of Fresno State. Before joining the Department of Viticulture and Enology in July 2011, Carrie worked for nearly ten years at the California Agricultural Research Institute (CATI) under the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.
